Headed to Bellas based on a recommendation from a close friend who knows his food! He suggested heading here for great coffee but I ended up here for breakfast as well. The menu was probably the best breakfast menu I've ever seen. Some great takes on the regular brekkie dishes. Some interesting inclusions with pumpkin (which I had) which were pretty inspired, and suprisingly well priced - these dishes would have $10 more on them in the city or in other cafes of the same calibre. Makes me wonder what the lunch or dinner menus would have on offer. I wouldn't write home about the coffee, as my friend suggested, but I am happy to praise the menu! Caf was very full, goes to show it's popularity, the staff were working at full pace (but probably needed more on), great spot with a small outdoor courtyard and bathrooms. I was a very regular customer for the entirety of this year but not anymore.You see I ordered breakfast this Monday just past and when it came out, my poached eggs were way over cooked and rock hard.I was understanding, as everyone makes mistakes, so I asked them to re do the eggs.I copped attitude from both the waitress and the kitchen staff that I DARED to raise an objection to their food.So after their dreadful display, I wrote a post and review to their Facebook page, and sure enough, it also got deleted without any attempt whatsoever from them to contact me to discuss the matter. So now Ill put it on Google reviews so that they cant delete it.In my books, the true sign of how good a business is how well they handle complaints. So clearly they dont want my money anymore, so the feeling is now mutual and I dont want their snobby, childish attitude any further.
Bellas Cafe is the best place to eat and even just having Coffee. Staff are so friendly food is Amazing so if you want the best of everything go to Bellas Cafe you will thank me for it.
Best place in town! Coffee was perfect, food is carefully made and beautifully served. Highly recommended.
